“Digital Defense” conference

Europe faces new challenges in terms of security and technology policy. Digital technologies are fundamentally changing defense: AI, autonomous systems, resilient communication networks, integrated data rooms, and dual-use innovations are shaping the future situation as well as the way procurement, standardization, and innovation work in the defense sector. The focus is on a networked, interoperable, and sovereign digital defense architecture that learns from operational experience and rapidly rolls out innovation.

At our conference “Digital Defense” we will discuss with experts from the German Armed Forces, academia, industry, start-ups, and politics how a powerful European defense ecosystem can be created—and how deep tech is becoming a decisive factor for sovereignty and resilience.

– Resilient communication and data infrastructure: multi-layer networks, fail-safe systems, quantum-secure communication, interoperable data rooms, sensor technology, data fusion, and AI-supported situation assessments.

– Digital battlefield – vision vs. reality: experiences from current missions, system integration, degrees of autonomy, and the role of humans in training and decision-making processes.
