Protecting your privacy has and always will be extremely important to the MÜNCHNER KREIS e.V. It is not just a legal obligation but is also of utmost importance for our relationship with our members, participants, interested parties. This policy summarizes what personal information we may collect, how we may use this information, and other important topics relating to your privacy and data protection.

What do we do with your data?
We need your data for membership administration purposes, for the sending of invitations to events and of MÜNCHNER KREIS e.V. news and information as well as for the organization of events. In order to send you information by email, the MÜNCHNER KREIS e.V. needs your permission to do so.


Who do we share your personal data with?

The MÜNCHENER KREIS e.V. sometimes works with external service providers (e.g., for the operation of our website). These service providers only process data in accordance with the wishes and under the control of the MÜNCHNER KREIS e.V., and only for the purposes set out in this policy.

How long do we keep your personal data?
The MÜNCHNER KREIS e.V. only stores your data for as long as you wish to receive news and invitations to our events.

Server logs
For the purposes of legitimate interests (see Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR), the MÜNCHNER KREIS e.V. collects data about visits to our website and saves these as server logfiles on the website server. The following data are recorded in this way:

•    Time at point of access,
•    Amount of data sent (in bytes),
•    Source/link from which you came to the site
•    Browser used,
•    Operating system used,
•    IP address used

The server logfiles are saved for a maximum of 7 days, after which they are deleted. The data is used for security reasons, for example, to clear up instances of misuse. Should data need to be saved as evidence, they will not be deleted until the matter has been settled once and for all.


Rights to access, rectification, deletion and objection

You have the opportunity at any time to demand information about the type and the use of the data we have stored about you, and you have the right to receive a copy of the data. If the situation warrants such actions, you can demand that the data be deleted or corrected or that restrictions are placed on the processing of your data. Your permission to receive emails can be revoked with future effect at any time.
To exercise these rights, please contact our data protection officer at datenschutzbeauftragter@muenchner-kreis.de. The supervisory authority is the Data Protection Authority of Bavaria for the Private Sector (BayLDA).
