How is AI changing our understanding of humanity, memory, and even how we deal with loss and death?\nWe cordially invite you to a special networking evening dedicated to these very existential questions.\nThe focus will be on the experimental short film “Überrest” (Remains), a production by a talented group of students from the Stuttgart Media University (HdM).\nThe film presents a fascinating and intimate exploration of the intersection of AI, memory, and human emotions. It tells of the deep longing to connect with what has been lost—and in doing so, highlights the opportunities and pitfalls of new technologies that bring us ever closer to simulating the human experience.\nThese questions are the focus of the evening:\nWhat does it mean when machines (AI) can mimic our most intimate memories?
