DESCRIPTION:Artificial intelligence is taking on more and more tasks, making decisions independently, and becoming an active participant in work processes. But that’s not all: the next stage of AI, known as AI agents, is increasingly evolving from mere tools to autonomous actors. As a result, the role and influence of AI in the world of work is changing. AI agents are increasingly able to take over entire work processes, interact with each other, and independently decide which steps to take next. As a result, AI is increasingly evolving from a supporting function to a largely independent actor.\nAI is becoming a new colleague in the work process and changing the organization. This opens up considerable potential for shaping the division of labor and collaboration in companies—between humans and AI, but also between humans and humans. AI functions as a member of teams, holistic tasks can be delegated to AI agents, and new innovative forms of learning are emerging. At the same time, new questions are arising for HR and organization.\nAt our conference “AI as an Actor – The New Era of Collaboration,” we will join numerous experts in examining the use of AI as an actor from different perspectives and discuss the potential and challenges that exist and the framework conditions that promote the utilization of AI agents.\n \n
